Mrs. Sruthy Murugan Usha, Assistant Professor, delivered an Expert Lecture at MGR University on 20.07.2023 on the topic "Unveiling The Origin of Authors Right In The Copyright System ". The Lecture emphasized on the very origin of copyright system as well as the origin of authors rights under the first Copyright statute. Followed by extensively explaining on the economic and moral rights provided to Authors both under Berne Convention, Trips agreement and the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
