SSL entered into Memorandum of Understanding with two leading premier law schools

of the Nation namely MNLU on 28.10.2015 and NLSIU, Banglore on 14.10.2015 for building

intellectual, research capacity and scholarship.

TEACHING PEDAGOGY


The School of Law follows an innovative pedagogy namely Multiple Interactive Learning Algorithm (MILA) which is modelled on the Brazilian system of activity based teaching and learning method. Through this pattern of education, students take active participation in the class by various means of interaction among themselves and with the faculty, through the medium of technology. In this way, students get an opportunity to go beyond the text books and lectures, to dwell into the contemporary issues and offer solutions. CBCS at SSL Saveetha School of Law offers Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for the semester pattern to provide holistic learning experience for our students by offering them wide ranges of choices to opt for courses based on their career options and academic interests. B.A., LL.B (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B (Hons.) consist of fifty subjects in a span of five years which are divided into Core Subjects, Electives, Honours Course, Clinical Courses, Value Added Courses and Internship which are compulsory to all students. The total credit awarded in the entire five year course of B.A., LL.B (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B (Hons.) is 245. A student graduating from Saveetha School of Law is mandated to secure 245 credits for the conferment of the degree. Saveetha School of Law encourages students to participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for their holistic development. In order to motivate students, the School offers 12 additional credits for students who publish their research papers, participate in international competitions, associate themselves with corporate in corporate social responsibility initiatives, Industry-Institution Interface, does internship in central or state government institutions, international organisations or contributes to environmental protection. By this method, the learning process of the students improves, giving rise to in- depth study and understanding of their concerned subject, eventually leading to an enhanced value of their education.

Prof.Dr.R.Anita Rao

Director,Saveetha School of Law

Prof. Dr. R. Anita Rao is the Director, School of Law, Saveetha University. Earlier she was a Visiting Faculty at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA). Prior to joining NLUJAA, Prof. Rao was Professor, School of Law, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, A.P. She has completed LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D from Andhra University and a Gold Medalist in Law. She has also undertaken a Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management in 1985 from Bhavan’s Institute, and a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from WIPO, Geneva in 2003.

She has more than twenty six years of experience in Teaching, Academic Administration and Research. She has been guest faculty at the Premier Law Schools NALSAR -Hyderabad and NLSIU - Bangalore, and Visiting Professor to XLRI, Jamshedpur. Prof. Rao served as principal to NBM Law College, affiliated to Andhra University and as Officer on Special Duty to the Chairman of GITAM Institutions. She has delivered lectures at various institutions, including the UGC sponsored programmes, specifically on Women and Justice, Intellectual Property Rights, and Medicine and Law. She is an advisor for the National Selection Committee.

Prof. Dr. Anita Rao has vast experience in Curriculum Design in Law conducting many executive development programmes to industries on IPRs and women executive development programmes. She has authored a Book on “Intellectual Property Rights”published by EBC publications. She has also been engaged in consultancy work in Patent Process and Filing, with MMTC on International Contracts and has conducted diploma courses on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and on Entrepreneurship.

Prof. Rao is a Member of the Advisory Committee in Centre for Women Studies, Andhra University; Indian Society for Health Laws and Ethics (ISHLE), New Delhi; Research Committee Member in Indian Social Science Congress; Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi; Board of Studies for Criminal Justice, Andhra University; Chairperson, Board of Studies of Law, Saveetha University, Chennai.

Her areas of expertise are in International Law, International Trade Law, Corporate Laws and Intellectual Property rights. The current area of research is Intellectual property rights.

 

Prof. Dr. NAZREEN TAJ

Professor of Law

 Prof. Dr. NazreenTaj obtained her LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D from Bangalore University, Karnataka. She was the first batch student of five years Law course of Bangalore University Law College. In the year 2005 she received her Doctorate Degree in the area of Company Law and her thesis was titled “The Director’s Duties and Responsibility - The Comparative study of India and England”.

Prior to joining Saveetha School of Law as Professor of Law, Prof. Taj had worked as Lecturer in Bangalore University from 1996 to 2006. She was the Principal of BabuJagajivan Ram College, Bangalore and then Garden City Law College, before moving to AlWeed Business School, Saudi Arabia where she worked for two years. At present she has 18 Years of teaching experience in Law.

She was appointed as a Chief-Custodial of LL.B, Valuation work from Bangalore University, and also as the Chief Coordinator for Re-valuation work. Dr. NazreenTaj was also member of the Board of the Examination for scrutinizing the question papers of LL.B, for past 12 years.

Mr. B. SIVAPRASAD

Assistant Professor of Law

The passion for law came true for Mr. B. Sivaprasad in Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Pondicherry from where he completed his B.A.L, (Bachelor of Academic Laws) LL.B. [Five year Course] in the year 2006. He completed his LL.M.,in the year 2009 with specialization in Business Law from one of the premier law institutions in India, The Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University. Currently he is a Research Scholar doing his part- time Ph.D from Pondicherry University. Further he has completed his State Level Eligibility Test (SET) for Lectureship in Law in October 2012.

Mr. B. Sivaprasad started his professional career in August 2010 as a Lecturer in Law at Central Law College, Salem and later in 2013 he joined Saveetha School of Law. He specializes in Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Law of Contracts. As Assistant Professor of Law in Saveetha School of Law, he handles Constitutional Law and Media Law.

Apart from academics, Mr. Sivaprasad had participated in numerous quiz competitions at national level and has won prizes. He was the convener for NSS Unit 1 as well as for The Youth Red Cross at Central Law College in Salem

Mrs. Anju Mohan graduated in LL.M., in Intellectual Property Rights in the year 2005, from School of Indian Legal Thought,M.G.University, Kerala and her LL.B from S.D.M. Law College, Mangalore University in the year 2002.

She started her teaching career as a Lecturer in Law in the year 2008 at the Central Law College, Salem. She has been teaching at Saveetha School of Law since 2013.

She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. Degree from the University of Madras.

She has to her credit publication in reputed National Law Journals and presented papers in international and national seminars.

 

Mrs. P. SUGANYA DEVI

Assistant Professor of Management Studies

Mrs. P. Suganya Devi is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, Saveetha School of Law. She graduated in B.Sc. (Computer Science), M.B.A, M.HRM degrees and a PGDED. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D., from Madurai Kamaraj University. Shehas also completed a Personality Development course from NOAH.

Mrs. P. Suganya Devi has completed an interns program on “Quality of Work Life” at Ebm - Nadi International Private Limited, Chennai, a partnership progressing performance on “Analysis on Shipping Software” at Win Track Shipping Services, Chennai and a project on “A Study on the Relationship between the Job Profile and the Skills of the Employee in an Organization” at Formulated Polymers Limited, Chennai.

Mrs. P. Suganya Devi has presented & published papers in international & national journals on the topicsSupply Chain Management, Talent Management, Off-Season Sales Promotion,Conceptual Skills, Succession planning, Customer Satisfaction, Stress Management of Women working in BPO Sector to name a few. She has totally 8 publications to her credit. She has attended various national workshops & Conferences.

She joined Saveetha School of Law in 2013 and has a total of 3.6 years of teaching experience.

                                                                                       Mr. KATTA ASHOK KUMAR

Assistant Professor of Management Studies

Ph.D from Saveetha University, Chennai. Currently I am working as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Department of Management studies, Saveetha School of law, Saveetha University, Chennai.

I joined Newton’s Institute of Engineering, Macherla, Guntur (DT) Andhra Pradesh on 21stJune, 2007 where I was working as an Assistant Professor of Finance and held the post of Exam cell In-charge until June 2011. Later I joined Malla Reddy Institute of Business Management (MRIBM) Secunderabad, as an Assistant Professor and Exam section In-charge till Dec 2011, again I rejoined in Jan 2012 with Newton’s Group Of Institutions, as the Head in- charge served up to 23rd July, 2013.

I am an experienced Academician, Researcher, Seminar director, Exam section in-charge HOD and Best Young Teacher Awardees etc these are all some of the key roles played by me.  My research interests are focused on human resources, strategic financial management, entrepreneur ship, marketing with a focus on emerging markets. As a prolific writer I have more than 30 articles published both National and International Journals besides I have presented more than 30 seminar papers.

I am one of the Associate editors of Pezzottiate International Journal.Associate Member of the International Safety Quality Environment Management Association U.K (Membership number id 15M27668.) Editorial Board Member of various International Journals such as International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Business Management, SOP Transactions on Economic Research (Online at Scientific Online Publishing, http://www.scipublish.com/journals/ER/) is published quarterly by Scientific Online Publishing, United States. International Journal of BIOINFO Business Management, Advisory member. Also I am member of Dr JK Research Foundation (An International Body). I am associated with Indian Commerce Association.

 

 

Mrs. VASUNDHARA RAVI

Assistant Professor of Law

Her pursuit of law began at Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram from where she completed B.A.L. (Bachelor of Academic Laws) LL.B. [Five year Course] and then her LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree with specialization in Corporate Laws and Governance including International Business from one of the premier law institutions in India, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.  Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. from NALSAR University of Law.

She started her professional career in 2009 as a Guest Lecturer in Law at Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram where she taught varied subjects such as Law of Arbitration and Conciliation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Environmental Law, Jurisprudence and Law of Contracts. From 2012 to 2013 she had a short stint as Guest Lecturer in Law, teaching Law of Banking at the P.G. Department of T.N. Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai. In 2013, she conducted a program on “Laws Applicable to Co- operative Societies” at Natesan Institute of Cooperative Management, Chennai.Currently, sheis an Assistant Professor of Law at Saveetha School of Law handling Law of Banking and Negotiable Instruments.

An avid mooter throughout her B.A.L. LLB., course, Mrs. Vasundhara Ravi has won and participated in various National Moot Court competitions both nationally and internationally. She represented India at the Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot held at Vienna, Austria in the year.

She has presented and published papers at various National and International Conferences. She has co- authored an article “Position of Maintenance in Indian Law” for e- Newsletter published by Women Lawyer’s Interest Group (International Bar Association). Her area of expertise includes 4yr. Apart from academics, she is interested in labour and Administrative law.

Ms. SIDDHI. S

Assistant Professor of Law

Ms. Siddhi is currently working as Assistant Professor of Law in Saveetha School of Law. She completed her M.L .in Labour and Administrative Law in the year 2012, from The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambekdar Law University, Chennai and her B.L. from the same University.

She began her teaching career in Saveetha School of Law in 2014. She has to her credit publication in reputed National Law Journals and presented papers in international and national seminars. Her areas of interest are Civil Procedure, Administrative and Labour Law.

During her student days, she has obtained Scholarship in both UG and PG studies and ranked second in academics in her College for both UG and PG.

She shows active interest in organizing and participating human rights awareness camps and participates in Teach India Campaign.

 

 

Dr. K.S. SHOBA JASMIN

Assistant Professor of Economics

Dr. K.S. ShobaJasmingraduated in B.A. (Economics) from Scott Christian College in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu and went on to pursue her M.A. (Economics) from S.T. Hindu College, Nagercoil district. She completed her M.Phil and Ph.D from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu. Her Doctoral Research thesis was titled ‘An Economic Analysis of Role of Forests in Carbon Sequestration in Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu’. She cleared her UGC-NET examination for Lecturership in December 2009.

Before joining Saveetha School of Law in March 2014, Dr. K.S. Shoba Jasmin worked as Lecturer in Economics in A.K.D. Dharma Raja Women’s College in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu. She has a total teaching experience of 1 year and 8 months.

She has a research experience of 1 year and a month on the title ‘Inclusiveness of Women Domestic Workers’. She has attended several conferences, seminars and workshops both nationally and internationally. She has published two papers in International Journals with high impact factor. Moreover, one of her paper is currently under review.

Her area of research includes Environmental Economics and Energy Economics and her area of expertise is Micro Economics.

She is a Gold Medalist at her Under-graduate level and won second rank in M.A. (Economics). She also won a Merit Scholarship during her P.G. level studies.

Apart from academics, Dr. K.S. Shoba Jasmin is well versed in Verse Writing in Tamil.

 

Mr. DHANASEKAR

Assistant Professor of Sociology

Mr. Dhanasekar graduated in B.Sc from Dr. Ambedkar Government Arts and Science College affiliated to University of Madras and M.A.(Sociology, 2013)from University of Madras with Distinction. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D in University of Madras.

He has also published articles in national journals and participated in various paper presentations and seminars. He has an experience of working in an International research project as a team lead initiated by Kyoto University, Japan, which was conducted in 11 south-Asian countries and his team was awarded the Best Team all over India. His area of research includes Sociology of Family and Marriage and his area of expertise are Classical and Contemporary Theories in Sociology, Sociology of Family and Urban Sociology.

He has been working as Assistant Professor of Sociology in Saveetha School of Law from 2013 handling Sociology for first year B.A.,B.L (Hons.) class.

He was awarded the Best Content Developer Award in an NGO, Cholai-Action for Child Labour.

Apart from academics, Mr. Dhanasekar shows keen interest in Documentary film making, photography and editing.

Mr. KANNAPAN

Assistant Professor of Law

Mr. Kannapan graduated in B.L. degree from The Central Law College, Salem, Tamilnadu and did his M.L. degree in Business Law from The Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai in which he obtained 2nd rank. Currently, he is pursuing Ph.D (Part-Time) in Corporate Law at Pondicherry University. He has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) on December 2012.

He has published paper in internationally reputed Journal and has presented paper in national level seminar. His fields of specialization include Corporate laws, Banking, Insurance and Securities laws.

Apart from academics, Mr. Kannapan is an ardent reader and shows interest in agriculture and music.

 

 

Ms. RADHUKA KANDHASAMY

Assistant Professor of Law

Ms. Radhuka is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at Saveetha School of Law, Chennai.  She teaches International Law, Contracts and Law of Equity. Her Journey in Law started in Coimbatore Law College where she pursued her Bachelor of Arts and Laws (BA, BL) degree from Coimbatore. She graduated with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Intellectual Property Laws from The Tamilnadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.

Prior to her current assignment, she worked as a Legal Executive in Kochhar& Co, in different departments viz, Real-estate Litigation, Corporate litigation to name a few. Because of the enormous thirst over academics she pursued her career as Faculty in Law.

She has presented papers on “Biotech Patents and Extinction of Species”, “Honor Killing and its impacts in Southern India”, and “Patenting life forms".At present she is pursuing her research in “Need of effective legislation for Stem Cell therapy and research".

She shows keen interest in writing poetry and a voracious reader.

 

 

Mr. N.KISHORE

Assistant Professor of Law

The strive to pursue a career in Law for Mr. N. Kishore began in School of Excellence in Law, Adyar, Chennai from where he graduated in B.A.B.L(HONS) in the year 2010 and went on to pursue his Master of Law degree with specialization on Intellectual Property Lawfrom one of the premier law institutions in India, TamilnaduDr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennaiin the year 2012.He holds an MBA degree from Alagappa University, Karaikudi and also a Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property RightsTamilnadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University.

He started his professional career as Assistant Professor of Law at Saveetha School of Law in 2014.

He has participated in various National Seminars. His area of expertise is Intellectual Property Rights.

 

 

Mr. D. ROHAN KUMAR

Assistant Professor of History

Mr. D. Rohan Kumar graduated in B.A. (History), M.A. (Applied History) and M.Phil (History) from one of the country’s most prestigious institution, Loyola College (Autonomous), Chennai with Distinction and Gold Medal ranking first in the college in all the three streams. He also has a Diploma in French from Research Academy for Cumulative Excellence (RACE), Loyola College.

He joined Saveetha School of Law as Assistant Professor of History on 15th January 2013. He teaches two courses in History, one History of India and Legal and Constitutional History of India for the B.A., B.L. (Hons.) for first two semesters respectively and secondly handles Legal and Constitutional History for B.B.A., B.L. (Hons.) students in the second semester.

His area of research include Biography as History and he is interested in Biographical Study, Constitutional History of India and the World, History of USA, European History from 16th Century onwards, Contemporary Strategy, Conflict and Peace Studies, International Relations and Modern and Contemporary History of India.

He had been on the Organizing Committee for hosting the first three National Congresses of Loyola Forum for Historical Research (LFHR) and has held various leadership positions during his student days.

Among the awards conferred on him, notable are Rajyapuraskar award conferred by His Excellency the Governor of Tamilnadu for his outstanding contribution as a Scout, Star of Loyolaby Loyola College for his achievements during his UG course, Best Outgoing Student conferred by Loyola College to name a few. He is a Life Member of South Indian History Congress and Loyola Forum for Historical Research.

Apart from academics, Mr. D. Rohan Kumar shows keen interest in travelling and trekking, reading English literature and is an orator and a debater from his school days itself.

 

 

Ms. G. JAYASHEELA

Assistant Professor of Law

Ms. G. Jayasheela graduated in M.L. (Labour and Administrative Law). She joined Saveetha School of Law in 2014 as Assistant Professor of Law. She has presented papers in national seminars and her fields of expertise are Moot Court and Labour Law and her area of research is Contract Labours (Labour Law).

She is an All India Moot Court Winner and was the Convenor of 3rd Jus Amicus National Moot Court Competition organized by Saveetha School of Law in April 2015.

Ms. Sharon Ruby

Assistant Professor (English)

Ø   Teaches at Saveetha school of law as assistant professor of English since September 2015.

Ø   The subjects handled by her are legal English and communicative English for the first years.

Ø   Her area of expertise is English language and literature.

Ø   She holds a degree in M.phil English from Madras Christian college

Ø   She has represented the department of English as student representative in the college union society during her under graduation.

Ø   Her research interests include traumatology and Afghan-American literature. 
She has a flair for poetry writing and has participated in many poetry reading forums

Ø  Master’s degree in Criminology and Police Administration graduated from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.

Ø  Additionally he also holds PG Diploma in Labour and Administrative Law from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.

Ø  Before joining Saveetha School of Law he was practicing as Advocate. He has 5 years of Bar experience of practicing in High Court of Madras as well as in District Court, Chengalpattu.

Ø  His practice was primarily focused on Family Disputes, Writs, Motor Claims and Arbitration. He as well served as a Guest Lecturer in Law at The Government Law College, Chengalpattu for about 1.6 years.

Ø  He also worked as a Legal Associate in Merrill Technology Services for about 1.6 years.

Ø  So far, he has presented 6 papers in various National Seminars held at various universities in India.

Ø  He has authored a Chapter in a book published by Jagannath University, Haryana.

Ø  He has also won awards as Moot Speaker and Best Researcher in various Moot Courts held at various universities in Tamil Nadu. He has attended various conferences, seminars and workshops. His eminent participation in adjudging various moots is highly appreciable.

Ø  His notable areas of interest in teaching Law were Law of Taxation, Law of Contracts, Family Law, Consumer Law, Indian Constitutional Law, Company Law, Jurisprudence and Law of Evidence. Currently he handles Law of Evidence, Administrative Law and Jurisprudence.

Ø  ML with specialization in Labour and Administrative Law from Government Law College, Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Trichy (2012-2014).

Ø  She cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) of University Grants Commissions in June 2015.

Ø  She secured Top Rank in her university at graduate level and also Gold Medalist in Constitutional Law.

Ø  She has presented papers in national seminars and conferences and received numerous awards and prizes during her student life and teaching career.

Ø  Her areas of interest include Case analysis, Planning, Drafting and Legal documentation, Labour & Administrative law, Intellectual Property Law, Indian Constitutional Law, Civil & Criminal Law, Banking Laws & Law of Contracts

Ø  She is currently taking papers on Administrative law, Family Law.

INTERNSHIP POLICY

1. Objective of the internship

v  To learn the drafting, listening, interviewing technique, communication, legal research, and debate, sense of humor and stress management skills from the experienced Advocates, Law officers.

v  To improve the above mentioned skills.  

v  To acquire the practical knowledge.

v  To know the management procedures of law firms and offices.

2. Duration and field of Internship

Each registered student shall have completed minimum of 20 weeks in the Five Year Course stream during the entire period of legal studies under NGO, Trial and Appellate Advocates, Judiciary, Legal Regulatory authorities, Legislatures and Parliament, Other Legal Functionaries, Market Institutions, Law Firms, Companies, Local Self Government and other such bodies where law is practiced either in action or in dispute resolution or in management.

3. These are the rules the students strictly to be adhered

·         At the end of every week, a report should be submitted with the corresponding faculty guide (through mail only).  

·         The weekend report should include where the students started their internship and should state whether it is a firm, institution or court along with the work you have done or observed. 

·         The mail correspondence will be considered as one of the most important criteria for awarding marks.

·         At the end of the internship duration a detailed report (Type written) over the internship should be submitted with the corresponding faculty.

·         An internship certificate should be submitted with the detailed report and it should be authenticated by the authority of the concerned institutions, firms or offices.

·         After the submission of the report, a viva will be conducted by the Internship Committee.

 4. Dress Code

Students placed under internship shall have formal dress of legal professional in pupilage as follows:

(For all) White/Black trouser, white shirt, black tie, black coat, black shoe and black socks. When students have problem of getting the entire formal dress for any reason, they have to have a white trouser, full sleeve shirt to be tucked in and covered shoe.

(Optional for Girl students) Black printed sharee, with white full sleeve blouse and covered black shoe or Lawyer’s Suit with black covered shoe. The Organization or Advocate under whom the internee is placed is required to follow suitable dress code.

5. Evaluation

·         The Internship Committee will appoint the Faculty Guides to guide and supervise the students. The committee will constitute panelists to value the Internship.

·           40 marks will be provided for internship (4 weeks in an Academic Year).

While awarding marks the following aspects will be considered as the important criteria:

Ø  Mail records regarding the Weekend report and summary

Ø  Authenticated certificate given by the firm or law office or concerned institution

Ø  The actual work observed/attended by the student

Ø  Final report of the internship

Our students

have actively volunteered in various socio - legal awareness programmes right from its

inception. Over the years, the number of our student volunteers has grown tremendously. To

fulfill the objectives enshrined in the Preamble to The Constitution of India and the vision and

mission of Saveetha University, Saveetha School of Law inaugurated the permanent legal aid

cell. This cell undertakes pro bono public activities every month. The student volunteers of the

Cell has donated books to the nearby Govt. Schools, donated blood, conducted the “Clean

Drive” programme at the Marina Beach, planted saplings, and spread awareness about

important legal issues to the villagers.

SAVEETHA SCHOOL OF LAW MOOT COURT SOCIETY

Moot Courts are simulated Court competitions which involve arguing on points of law by student advocates before a bench of judges usually comprising of members of the faculty and practicing advocates. Saveetha school of law since its inception has been dedicated to imparting an inclusive, relevant and socially responsible training and education of law. In law school the closest experience that a student can get to appearing in a court is mooting. Rightly said thus “mooting is an art of argument”- understanding this, the Saveetha School of Law moot court society since its establishment has long striven to develop the tradition of mooting among students by way of conducting intra moot court and National moot court competitions and also included moot court as a part of the curriculum.

Saveetha school of Law Moot Court society aims to encourage students to take part in moot court competitions. It further aims at enhancing the argumentative and research talents of students through mooting. This would make the students future ready

The society annually hosts the prestigious “Jus amicus National Moot Court competition”. This event held in the first week of April attracts students from all across the country. The management graciously awards the prize winners of this event with attractive cash prizes and certificates of merit.   Apart from this, the society hosts intra collegiate moot court competition (ICMC) to nurture mooting talent in the college. We the moot society of Saveetha School of Law organized Three Intra Moot Court Competitions since 2014 to till date. This time around, the society plans to additionally host an “All First year Moot court competition”. The event aims to induce mooting consciousness among the fresher’s who are the future of our institution.

Two students  are pursuing LLM from the Leeds University, London  and Manchester University . One of our Alumni have published a book titled" Thousand Unspoken Words”.

Placement cell is an integral part of Saveetha School of Law. Placement activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective student for the campus selection programmers. Lot of internship and expert lectures are organized to the student to get practical experience and understanding of subject.
